Thank you Stag Arms

We tend to only hear the bad stories about manufacturers in the forums, so here's a good one.

A few weeks ago my kids were out shooting with me at our range. My oldest was shooting my Stag Arms Model 1 and my youngest was shooting my Ruger 10/22.

To make a long story short, after both kids had shot I loaded a mag in the AR and hit the bolt release, pulled the trigger and 'click'. When I tried to extract the round the bolt would barely move. I was able to get the round out, but the bolt was locked up solid! I had never seen anything like it and didn't want to do any further damage so I decided to call Stag.
The folks at Stag were very nice and told me they would like to get the rifle back to examine the problem. They promptly sent out a Paid return shipping label, so I sent it back. They called me a little over a week later to tell my rifle was repaired and ready to be shipped back. I asked what the problem had been, and they told me it was a foreign obstruction.
Apparently when the rifle was laying on the shooting bench with the bolt open (for safety) one of the ejected 22 casings landed in the receiver!
This was 100% shooter error and no malfunction of the rifle, yet Stag paid shipping both ways, repaired the rifle free of charge, and was nice about it to boot! And they also included the squashed 22 casing when they sent back my rifle

Stag Arms is a first class act. I've owned and still have a couple of their AR's, and have never had one single problem with their rifles. I have called to inquirer about their products and the costumer service as always been very informative and helpful. We also carry their products at our store.

Stag is pretty good, the don't get the credit they deserve from certain crowds.

My M1 Stag is a great rifle for the money and awfully good at any price. I admit I bought it as a price-point gun. It exceeds my expectations and is just right for what I wanted.
