The 2nd Amendment protects the right to own Weapons of War, no?

Still, I would prefer Miller to Heller as the basis for further Supreme Court elucidation. The Heller case did us no favors.
I understand that the Heller case is less than perfect, but IMHO it was a step forward. While people worry Heller will allow crafty politicians to "interpret" away other chunks of 2A rights, and that could happen, in my estimation, ignorant and/or crafty pols will always be doing that. Look how the Miller Case has been used --- that very article explained how the pols and "legal eagles" in the 1930s twisted logic and the 2A on its head to get what they wanted. It's 2018 now and the same continues; look how Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein and other libs view the 2A.

The fight will always be with us .... and I sincerely doubt we'll ever get a truly perfect law or SCOTUS decision regarding the Second Amendment ---- atleast not with the milquetoast republicans we have in DC right now!
