the 5.11 tactical shirt, reviews?

I've used it on several occasions carrying a J Frame, a S&W 4013, or a Kimber CDP II Compact. I experienced no sag on either the gun side or the mag/speedloader side. Draw is, of course, slower in most cases.

What might one need one of these shirts for?

Just if you don't feel like wearing your gun on your belt?

Perhaps one more option in the bag? It seems like it would be another good alternative to a cross draw holster for your second gun while driving (or seated) ... and still have your primary on your belt. Slower draw of course but less total upper body movement while drawing.

I have several 511's in both short and long sleeve. In the summertime I like the lighter Ripstop short sleeve shirts and the heavier cotton in the winter. They are ambidex with pouches on either side. I carry a G26, Kahr PM9 or a J-frame (not all at same time).

Don't buy their tactical vest. It is extremely heavy and too bulky.
