    Just showing off really. This is my modded ESEE-5. I stripped off the coating and reprofiled the edge to make the 40 degree inclusive microbevel easy to maintain on a SharpMaker. The Micarta handle has been epoxied to the scales to seal out water (sadly, these picture predate that and the coating still shows under the scales here). The edges of the scales have been sanded shiney smooth but the flat has been left with the original linen micarta texture. It's a beast!

    It has a custom leather sheath.

    Nice job.

    Did you do all of the work yourself or was the sheath done by a maker?

    I am the sheath maker. This one took some time. This one here is probably the next one that I did...both in 2010 I think.
