I had always thought Dillon Precision, was unbeatable with their customer service, 10 days ago I emailed RCBS about a 41mag die, mine would not hold a decapping pin any longer, They responded the next day and today a new decapping unit and 5 pins arrived at N/C. Two weeks ago my Smith & Wesson 1066, froze, I called S&W they emailed me a FedX label, two weeks latter the gun arrived home and it shoots better than it has in over 20 years. It sure is great to have a passion with a sport, and have so many great suppliers support.

Vortex flip caps didn't fit very well. One quick phone call and 3 days later a new set of caps arrived. The new caps were perfect.

I guess I have been lucky. No major problems with any gun or accessory. Not including my 2 700's trigger recall.

Ruger has always been tops for me. they have gone above and waaaayyy beyond.

RCBS customer service is great. Can't say enough good about them. Lee customer service has also been great.

Springfield Armory treated me very, very well. I've seen Henry do the same for others. I bought a used SA XDm that had an issue with the barrel likely caused by the previous owner. I got the gun on a trial basis but I called SA just to see what they said, They offered to fix it for free even though I didn't buy it new and technically had no warranty on the gun. In short order I had a XDm that I bought for $150 less than it should have cost and it worked perfectly. The guy at the gun shop must have thought I was nuts when I told him I loved that pistol the next time I saw him. :) Some companies will treat you well. I've had several treat me well actually. Some do not do that unfortunately. Marlin has been the worst I've seen but in fairness it wasn't the fault of the returns department. A trigger guard that was put on their rifles was defective and they just didn't have enough extras to replace all they needed to replace. I had to wait a long time to get the replacement but it did come eventually.

Two come to mind. MEGA. Wow! I ordered their Megolithic upper. I read where most uppers need to be trued up for match barrels and Midway sells tools to do so. I emailed Mega one night and the next morning got their response of all Mega parts are machined to precise tolerances and I am good to go. Next I called with a quick question. Was told I would get a call back. Ya right. How many times have I heard that. Within a couple of hours my questions were answered. Then when I recieved the upper, the packaging was enter than most gun cases! From now on, Mega all the way!

Glock also blew me out of the water. I tinkered on my 21 until it was locked up. Called Glock and after a little scolding was told no matter what I have done to the pistol, if I return it they will repair free of charge.

Browning- thumbs DOWN!

Best Companies

Ditto for Leupold. Extraordinary customer service.
Ditto for Ruger.

I had a positive experience with Glock when I swapped out the spring and guide rod on my Gen4.

Dillon is great. Leica is fast and they really stand behind their products. Hornady is also really good to deal with.

Fella';

Big thumbs up for: Dillon, Leupold, RCBS, and Zeiss. All four have treated me very well over the years.

On the flip side of the coin, the ones you really can't expect much from are the various Beretta owned companies.

Great experience with RCBS and S&W.

Also I bought a Leupold Rifleman scope (their entry level model) and was surprised that it didn't come with scope caps or anything. I emailed them complaining, saying that even $40 Tasco scopes came with scope caps. They sent me a neoprene scope cover in the mail for free. I didn't even ask for it, just suggested that they start including something to protect the lenses while its in the safe or closet. Great company.

Dillon has always worked hard to please.
Brownell's... nicest folks you'd ever want to talk to. Polite on the phone and if they don't know the answer they mean it when they say, "Hold on a sec and I'll find someone who does." :D

Ruger and Smith & Wesson have been great to me.
Federal was awesome when I thought I had an ammo issue (turns out it was the gun). Either way, Federal has gone above and beyond.
Star Targets (the exploding target company) was awesome when I had an issue as well.

For the NFA crowd:
SilencerCo has been great and really stand behind their products.
Lage has incredible customer service and are always a pleasure to deal with.

Savage on the other hand... well, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all...

Come to think of it, I do not believe Winchester owned Browning when I had issues. I will need to think about that, i would love a micro medallion and possibly a lever. I have boycotted Browning for failing to resolve a small issue. It wasn't just one bad apple. No need to go there. Several years of therapy helped me through it:banghead:

I have been dealing with gun/scope co's for 45 years. The best seem to stay in business. S&W,Ruger,RCBS,Dillon,Leopold and Mossberg have ALWAYS been great to deal with. Colt,Winchester,Weaver,Dan Wesson,Interarms and Remington not so much.

Had great service from S&W last year when I bought an M&P9C with a thumb safety I didn't want. They sent me the frame hole plugs they day I called and free.

Have also had great service from Homestead Parts and Midwest USA.

I've had excellent service from S&w when I had a brass split during firing and lock the gun up. Warne scope rings was also excellent.

Another vote for Springfield. I bought an EMP 9 at the end of October. It fed FMJ ammo well, but would not feed HP well. I also could not remove the slide. I had the gun back about 10 days after my initial phone call to them, and it's working flawlessly.

I have to give a big thumbs up to Lyman. I’ve had excellent service from them for years. Even when I called to make a direct purchase, I was told that they would have to charge me the full MSRP, but that I should call MidSouth Shooters for a better price.

I have also received excellent service on purchases from MidSouth Shooters.

Other companies I’ve had good service for are Smith & Wesson and Ruger.

At the other end is Beretta. I’ll never buy another of their products.
