I have just purchased a Glock 36 and am trying to find a good concealable holster. I am looking at the Cross Breed Super tuck deluxe and Alabama Appendix Holster from the Alabama holster company. If any one has any opinion on these or any other ones please let me know

Where do you intend to carry the 36 - maybe you haven't decided yet?

I carry a DAO pistol at 2 o'clock (appendix) in galco IWB leather - great stuff. About $30.

When I carry on my hip, I wear a High Noon Bare Asset - very thin and works well on a solid gun belt.

Which reminds me - BUY A GOOD GUN BELT, if you don't already have one.

Good luck - gettting the right setup is a long process (usually).

I keep hearing this GUN BELT term... so I must ask... as I have never actually seen one, picture, link, something to show what I shoud be looking for?

I've heard a lot of good things about the Cross Breeds.
There are a ton of good holster out there, but I'd also recommend Com-Tac. It really is all about your own taste.

To PT1911: You can find better information if you just google your question, but a gun belt is basically just a thicker/stiffer belt that been designed specifically for holding the extra weight of a gun. This is particularly important if you want to wear a leather belt and carry a gun, because a regular leather belt will quickly be ruined by stretching due to weight of the gun.

+1 on the comp-tac. I have an m-tac holster from them and it is very comfortable and concealable. I believe they are on sale right now. http://www.comp-tac.com/
A big plus for the comp-tac holsters is that you can replace the kydex component of the holster to fit any new handgun you buy, saves you havin to buy new holsters everytime you buy a new gun.

I'm currently using a $12 neoprene blackhawk iwb for my glock. Very fast draw yet stable.

I wear at about 3:30 to 4:00. Something bothers me about appendix carry. It's inevitable with appendix that the muzzle will sweep your body. Also by wearing like I do it's easy to deceive a BG about what that hand is doing ( by angling slightly and keeping shirt in front it looked like you're grabbing a wallet).

Finally my position means you can draw most quickly and naturally IMO including one handed if necessary

My CrossBreed SuperTuck, with the Beltman Bullhide belt works Really well, for me. But as with any holster, there is a trial and error adjustment process.

I like my supertuck*, but the best holster is the one that best; conceals, retains, and allows good access to your firearm, while being comfortable for a full day of packing.

Expect to have a few holsters that don't work out, and budget accordingly. Quality often costs, not just for good materials, but also for the skilled work and customization.

*The CrossBreed SuperTuck works well for me, and is well designed ... it may not be a good fit for you, but it is worth a try, they do have a 2 week guarantee, you should know if it is right in that time-frame, assuming you can carry in it daily for more than a few hours.

I vote for simply rugged. You can use it either way, inside, outside, canted, straight. I love mine. I use it both ways.
like the OP said, anyone have any ideas on what I can get locally for a gun belt? Im a little lost myself. I am currently using a random in the middle hardness belt.

Look for places that sell work-wear (labor-style work, not "office casual". Check their belt rack. I have an awesome Amish-made leather belt with a roller buckle and really thick/stiff leather that I've been using since before I owned handguns.
Sadly, the Beltman belt didn't have the roller buckle as an option, so I'm hunting for an extra buckle while I wait on Beltman.
