So I love sporting clays, trap, skeet, 5 stand, birding and all.... but here is the the thing I want to become even better. And I know, I need to practice more, but I would also like to know if there is any definitive, all in all best shotgun book that I should buy? How do you guys think about Breaking Clays by Chris Batha?

Thanks!

Check out shotgunworld.com, the NSCA site, shotgunsports.com, clayshootingusa.com. There are always lots of books and dvd's by many reputable folks who coach and teach.

You might also want to get yourself a lesson with a good coach - consider it an investment in your quest for perfection..... :D

Batha knows his stuff, and the book I found of value.

Same with Gil Ash's stuff.

Brister's masterwork is now a bit dated, but lots of stuff there still pertains.

HTH....

I've learned more from a few minutes' worth of tips from highly-ranked competitive shooters who happened to be good teachers, than from any reading -- though reading is fun and informative.

The "coach" recommendation seems like a good one.:)

The only problem with a book is that it can't watch you shoot and show you what you can do better, and how.
