One I recently discovered...Taurus PT945...like a highbred of a sig/Baretta.Single stack,ambi-safety,cocked and locked or DA/SA capable,and mine is 100% w/ any ammo I've tried.What's not to love?

Mine has already been taken (H&K P7), so I'll add the Sig P230/232. Great gun, if a bit big for the .380 ACP round. That extra size improves the ergos and makes the gun shoot even better than it looks, though...

I never liked the 1911 grip, just not hand filling. However, if it's too small, you CAN buy more hand filling grips. If the grip is too fat, no way to change it smaller.

I still don't care much for 1911s, though.
