I wonder if the judges are tickled pink putting us in so much suspense. I'd love to see scotusblog's traffic figures for the last week.

The Court has released the opinion in Morgan Stanley Capital Group Inc. v. Public Utility District No. 1 of Snohomish County (06-1457), on whether the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission properly declined to modify electricity contracts reached during the 2000-2001 Western energy crisis. The ruling below, which remanded the case to FERC for further review, is affirmed and remanded.

Justice Scalia wrote the opinion. Justice Stevens dissented, joined by Justice Souter. Justices Roberts and Breyer took no part in the consideration of this case. We will provide a link to the decision as soon as it is available.

haha Okay so I see I should just read. Otherwise I'll be repeating what everyone else is seeing and saying.

Good god this is like Christmas morning.

The order of today's decisions was predicated by seniority of the majority decision-writer, Heller being last isn't (directly, anyway) a conspiracy by SCOTUS to keep us in 10min more suspense.

Please nobody run out doors and shoot into the sky in celebration LOL! though it IS tempting...
