The Canine is an amazing animal

Pretty much finished my Glock 19 Gen 5 : Faxon threaded barrel. Ameriglo tactical suppressor height sights, I fitted a Ghost 3.5 pound trigger link kit with the 6 pound striker spring and lighter recoil plunger spring. A little polishing with 1000 grit diamond strip and a good flushing of grit really smoothed things out it has a four pound final break good for a Glock trigger that gets better every hundred rounds. I doubt you could hear the report of the ablatived ( wire pull gel) Canine a hundred yards ! It is no louder than the super quiet piston driven Ecco Machine Phoenix on this gun. The balance point of the G19 with the Canine is right on the trigger, a natural pointer. Pretty much gonna carry it in a small shoulder bag with phone and pint of water in the 100 degrees Oregon woods around my place.

It's a pretty quiet can for its size - at least for the first magazine. I've found I can comfortably get through 2 mags with my Canine (mounted on a USP) before the noise level picks up noticeably. I am using white lithium grease though. Maybe I'll have to track down some wire pulling gel to see if there is a difference in sound.

No difference in sound, I used both. The wire gel just seems less messy.The wipes don't seem to wear that much to matter. We replaced first one at 200 rounds. Yes at first couple magazines very quiet, like I said about same as the longer Phoenix. However the can itself even dry is hearing safe, tho somewhat louder. This makes it ideal to keep mounted on the SIG 239 or Glock 19 and carry in a light , accessable shoulder bag..I guess a shoulder holster could be made up.

I didn't have the same experience of my Canine being hearing safe while dry. Almost all my shooting with cans though is on a property with lots of hills that reflect the sound in undesirable ways.

Yeah I keep it wet , but after 30 rounds or so yes it's time to unscrew the nose Cap and put that tiny bit around the cone . Like I said the wipe for the first 59 or so rounds makes it crazy quiet for a five baffle stack small suppressor.I guess the 1.5" diameter gets the volume up for 9 mm . I put the big , but slender Phoenix on the same guns and the sound was pretty much same when Canine was fresh . The Phoenix also works with stronger super sonic loads very well, just the echoes of crack going down range. I wouldn't use the Canine for much super sonic dumps , or the PCC 9 mms. . The downside of the Canine is the diameter.The Phoenix you can see Beretta 92 sights barely. The Canine everything must be suppressor high sights.

I'll just add this video of my son shooting the 9.5 grains of 4227 imr under a 220 grain Sierra HP for .300 Aac we reloaded the day after we found that load to give 1020 fps in an 8" barrel. Very accurate at 100 yards from this Aquilae.30 cal Ecco Machine suppressor. We also use it on supersonic 5.56 and 6.5 CM for hunting. We fire those AFTER the dirty .300 BO, it cleans the non serviceable welded can quite well of the dirty 4227 powder.
