What is interesting is that I expected the Tulips of Hell to have very limited appeal but the website got more hits the day I posted this than any other. By a considerable margin.

thanks appreciate it, i may goof my way through a holster this year, ive done a fair number of sheaths and ball/shot bags etc. figuring i may try a holster or rather a holster like item

While I agree the "pitch" of the flames could be more acute- making them look more like flames on a hot rod, the general Idea is conferred in a very pleasant style, and that "acuteness" is more of a personal choice.

The spots have two metal prongs that go through the leather and then get folded over. Some just set the prongs down into the leather. I go a step further and punch a small hole between the prongs to set them into for added insurance.
