The Funnest One!

You know.. I'm not sure I think guns should be in the hands of someone who uses the word "funnest" :scrutiny: j/k

As far as which I think is the most fun.. I don't know. They all have their place and time. It would be easier I think for me to pick out a couple that are less fun than the others.

Gee, ya' know I sure see a lot of revolvers mentioned here, even though this is supposed to be the semi-auto topic area. (Mwahahaha....the wheelgun gods are happy)

For me, it would have to be my S&W 19-3. I love that thing. I always look forward to getting in trigger-time with it.

That would be my IAI M-5000. It is a commander size 1911 supposedly made in Israel. I did a trigger job on it with very little up-take and replaced the fire pin stop with the EGW stop. I have a ball shooting it, specially rapid firing. It has very little recoil, the trigger is light and crisp with very little travel. It is not extremely accurate, but accurate enough where you keep trying to out shoot the gun. Once in a while I ask myself, 'is it me or is it the gun'.

The funnest gun I have ever shot has to be a buddies Ingram Mac-10 in 45acp. I don't normally go gaga over a fully automatic gun, but we cut the carcas of a large dead cow in half with one mag. Phenominal firepower and a hoot to shoot.

The funnest gun I own & shoot has to be my Browning Buck Mark Target. It is almost impossible to miss with this gun.

Most fun? Glock 18.

Impractical, ugly, huge waste of ammo, impossible to keep on target... but man does it put a smile on your face!

3" .500S&W, no compensator, with bird's head wooden grips... One cylinder full was enough for me, but it was something to remember!

I shot a fully automatic 12-gauge shotgun at a machine-gun shoot a couple of years back, and that was probably the most fun I have ever had shooting any firearm. At that same shoot, my best friend shot a Vulcan, which is probably the most fun he has ever had! For pistols, again at that same shoot, I shot a MkII that had a suppressor on it. It was just fun shooting .22's and just hearing a tiny little pop every time I pulled the trigger.

Desert Eagle .50. Bought it several years ago, had Checkmate put a beautiful brushed chrome finish on it with polished accents then sold the darned thing a couple years ago. It was the "funnest" of all the guns I've ever shot. Now, of the ones I currently own, I would say its the Springer XD45.
