It ain't all that hard. All you have to do is remember to control every part of your body in a nice smooth heel to toe roll while keeping your legs bent to absord and isolate all the shock at your hips while keeping an agressive upper body forward position to absorb and control recoil while keeping your head up and on a swivel so you don't get tunnel vision and lose situational awareness while being dead certain of your spacial orientation so you don't scrape on walls and door frames and partners while avoiding stubbing your toes or tripping on stuff and then you just need to be able to manipulate your weapon proficiently enough to find the threat and lock your front sight (or red dot) on target and press the trigger smoothly and assess the effect of your shot and keep moving and communicating. See! There's nothing to it. Oh yeah, you've got to keep your cigar from dropping ash on the carpet while avoiding ducks hanging from the ceiling on strings.

I always did hate them ducks.

Thank you El Tejon for getting to the point and answering the question that was asked.

One thing my instructor told me that I found valueable was 'to think of my lower body as the treads on a tank', when I did that I found I could move forward a lot more smoothly, it's also a bit of a workout so you can practice it when going to get the mail and make mundane chores interesting:)
