Hey now how did they get pictures of Casa 2RCo Sur?? I told the darn butler to quit feeding stray cats eesh!

I like the temple panels in the last pic, probably sandal wood, so wonder if the got them for smuggling antiquities too.

I see this and wonder why I chose the narrow road. Here I am a cop who can barely afford a new gun a year, and the guys that my constitution protects gets to have those guns guarded by those pretty kitties. I couldnt find one by looking, but will yall let me know if you see where I can get an application to be a gold gun toting kitty sitter, I would like to retire.

The first photo looks like it was in miniature. Pretty crappy photography overall. Looks like the Mexican drug lords love all things gold. And feline.

I thought it was interesting to see that one of the drug enforcement guys (15th picture down) has a drum magazine on his AR. Very cool article though, I'm glad they took em down!

Shootistpd27,

I know this won't pay the bills, but I thank & commend you for your service and your servant-heart. Civil service, armed forces, municipal work (streets, sewer, water) clergymen and, in general, any job that requires a name sewn onto the front of the shirt is looked down on in society. We serve at the needs (and sometimes whims) of the people and are only remembered when we don't do our jobs.

We both are in our vocations, not to get rich, but out of a sense of compassion and a desire to help those who cannot help themselves. Like you, when I see these stories or even read of those here on THR who are in the "gun a month" club, my ears, eyes & fingers turn a bit green with envy.

I'm thankful for what I have, who I have with me, and that at the end of the day I can go to sleep (usually) knowing I've done something to help someone else and (besides an occassional speed limit :p) have not done things illegal, on the backs of others, or that caused intentional harm.

Thank you for your service.

Blessings,
Q

Those who have more wealth always seems greater to those who have less and envy them.
These guys however do not have a great life. They simply have all the things money can buy.

They also have constant assassins looking for ways to attack them, members of thier family, and others who befriend or associate with them.
People double cross them on a regular basis. Former employees, police they previously had bought off, politicians who were great friends who suddenly cut ties, and others who simply want to replace them.
Even thier own family or spouses can turn and become expert witnesses in putting them away.
So much of thier life is spent paranoid, trying to demonstrate brutal revenge on any who double crosses or are suspected of being disloyal. Which means even loyal friends, family, or employees end up killed.
Then there is rivals who live the same type of paranoid lifestyles which they are competing with.

So everyone involved with these characters is paranoid of everyone else, and with good reason. So they may have everything money can buy, but they live very stressful lives where they are unlikely to actually enjoy most of what thier money can purchase. That stress, danger, and instability extends to thier family members and friends who are also targets.
Targets of politicians who are friends one day, and enemies the next. Government employees that change allegiances regularly. Targets of rivals, and even targets of friends or family of those they harm in thier profession who seek personal revenge.

Some organizations, and government agencies even manipulate the paranoia to cause them to kill each other. To cause people to be suspected of snitching who never snitched. To cause rivals to suspect an action was taken by another rival when it was not. To manipulate blame of seizures of drugs on actions that result in retaliation. To manipulate blame of a hit committed by the government on a rival. etc

For example they may bug multiple people, then learning something use that information to cause one member to believe another member snitched, and even have data the drug cartel members believe nobody else knows presented as evidence that the other guy who never snitched did snitch or double cross. That then proves that someone must have snitched in thier minds, because only certain people knew that information.
So loyal people get murdered after being framed by rivals, members of governments, politicians and LEOs.
They are turned against each other at the whim of others. Of course they do the same to others, including rivals, members of government, politicians, and LEO. Everyone can make the other think loyal people are disloyal, plant evidence and create more paranoia.

Each time one goes down, there is multiple people willing to fill the vacancy and take over that lifestyle.

Even poverty and a good loving family would be more enjoyable than the lifestyles of many of these guys. They are in virtual prisons thier entire lives, with numerous people plotting against them, living out thier paranoia surrounded by all the beautiful things money can buy. Surrounded by people armed to protect them, any of whom may turn against them at any time or be an informant.
Until of course they finally are killed or end up in prison.
After all, consider everything you see here is from people that lost everything being shown.

No, if you want to be a corrupt snake that lives well at the expense of others, but does so safer, be a politician, not a drug lord. Mexican politicians often divert funds to themselves, live just as lavish of lifestyles for very little work, but don't end up assassinated nearly as often. There is many projects allocated money that don't exist or actually cost much less than officially billed all over Latin America.

Uh don't ask how I know but those are sheds for processing product burning--if you get my snowdrift. The Casa is good!

OK so I've watched too many specials on the drug trade:neener:

The lesson to learn here is if you're going to be a Mexican drug lord, then you have to make sure to keep paying off the Mexican police.

What a joke, I really like the opportunistic photo of the staged arrest.
