    Hi guys,

    i happen to be in Istanbul to meet with the american family
    i had the pleasure to stay with almost 2 decades ago.
    They´ll arrive tomorrow an we´ll celebrate Newyears
    overlooking this amazing city that is on 2 continents.

    Anyway ... i explored the city a bit since the morning
    and on my way back ... stumbled onto the

    And what can i say ... it is great. Many many examples of rare guns and blade-arms .. and many unique models i´ve never even heard of.

    a carved Mauser ( presented to the Sultan by the Kaiser)
    and a weird mauser with some cylinder attached to the right side ...
    ... no explanation provided. Could be some recoil absorption experiment.

    and one of the most remarkable guns i saw:

    An overunder Shotgun with 2 hammers.
    French obviously.

    End of picture-galore.

    I spared you the many many normal surplus rifles and all the gatlings, maxims, hotchkisses and vickers .... and i will make another thread in NON-Firearms
    for the blades n stuff.

    Enjoy - and comment if u can contribute anything to those guns.
    (The plaques usually only statet century, country and sometimes maker)
