I was on the fence about the KS6. I had the money to buy one, but opted for a S&W. I seen a few Q/A post on the Kimber forum, its extremely high price, and lastly, unlike Rugers, Smiths, etc, the $800-$1000+ unproven revolver only comes with a 1 year warranty. If you are confident in your product, you'd be confident enough to offer a warranty that extends beyond 1 measly year. Colt, Smith, Ruger, and even Taurus have been offering better warranties while charging the same, or the majority of the time, less for their offerings. It's not like they are passing the savings to the customer by having a sub par warranty either... That was enough to sway/scare me away for now. The 1 extra round in the gun and vanity isn't worth all the extra cash and risk for me.
On an unrelated note, it would be nice to see Sig get into the revolver game, and give the K6s some competition. I'm surprised they aren't already...
