Went to the new Goodman show near the Dayton airport to see how things have changed, if at all, since Nov.
One dealer had the AK varient WASR with all the goodies, 2 30 rd. mags, bayonet, sling, pouch, etc. Price $529 + tax. That has been the price since Nov. The show right before the election had them for $410 + tax.
One dealer had a standard S&W M&P15 for $1200 + tax. I'm not sure if it was used or new. He also had a complete lower (DPMS I think) with a 6-position stock for $550 + tax which seemed a little high.
Another dealer had a stripped CMMG lower for $185 + tax. I was tempted on that one but left it there.
A dealer who normally has decent prices had the new Ruger Mini14 tactical in both varieties of stock selection. This new EBR comes with 1 20 round mag and maybe some other goodies that I didn't check out. The MSRP on this new rifle is $892 & $894. This guy had them priced at $799 plus tax. Not bad considering the market, but the street price normally would be around $600-700.
Another dealer had the Ruger for the same price.
Off brand 30 round mags. were $20.
One private individual was selling 7.63X39 ammo for $275 for a case of 1000. He had two cases. I didn't ask the brand.
There is probably more, but the wife is walking out the door to go to a super bowl party.
