I'm glad that the name Alessi marches on, now with a website from which to order, but I wish that it were with a better product (or at least a similar level of quality as before) that his daughter and friend followed in Lou's footsteps.

I finally found some of the new Alessi product in a local gunshop, and I'm sad to say that it doesn't hold a candle to what was put out by Lou. The new stuff looks similar, but the leather quality and execution just isn't there.

What holsters I handled seems to be distinguished by a buffalo figure on the waist-in side (at least on a CQCS), which is good, because I don't think I'll be looking for anything but the old. Nonetheless, I wish them well in their endeavor.

I just got a talon plus holster for my glock and its an amazingly well made product.

The Talons don't seem to have undergone an appreciable change (I saw a few of those on the rack), but they're a lower-end product in comparison with a holster like the CQCS. For those of you contemplating a Talon, get the Plus. The $10 difference is worth it in functionality.

Got a few Bodyguard shoulder holster components last year, and they seem to be made as well as the older stuff.................
