The Next Gun I Want to Buy Is...., Because....?

List is quite long, but I'll bite, in no particular order:
1. G20 Gen 4 - Always wanted a 10mm
2. Springfield TRP - Want a 1911 for carry
3. Springfield Pro Model - Always wanted a hand fit 1911, maybe carry too
4. Glock 19 - Have a 17 and 26, why not? Also a good carry piece
5. M1A
6. M1 Garand
7. S&W 686 in .357 mag - Need a wheel gun
8. Sig M11A1
9. Bolt Action Rifle in .223 - Wanna shoot small groups some day
10. .22lr pistol of some kind
11. Sig P938 - What's not to like about a single stack 1911 pattern 9mm?
12. AR10. Want it just like an M16A2, but with a flattop (A4?) upper, and chambered in .308 of course

That's a good start

Aero Survival Pistol in 9mm that takes Glock 17 mags and add the SIG SB-15 arm brace. I already have a bunch of Glock 17 mags in 17 and 33 round capacities.

Why? Because 9mm reloads are the new .22 for fun plinking.

A person can't qualify for CCW in Joisey?

Only ball and wad-cutter ammo allowed there, IIRC.

I live in NJ. It's may-issue here, in theory. In practice, unless you are very rich or very well connected politically, it's no-issue.

You can absolutely own hollowpoints here. I've got several hundred in the safe right now. It's just that you can't have them anywhere but a range, your home, your business or hunting.

I'd like to buy a factory engraved Colt Single Action for $450, because I like them and it would be a great deal.

Love my 348. Great grouse gun with round ball loads, and nice carry gun in bear country.

For the first time in my life, I don't have a next gun I want to buy in mind. Just bought the wife a Shield for her birthday, since she just got her CCW permit. Nice compliment to her 9c.

I don't have any burning desires to purchase any more guns. I've been concentrating on improving the ones I own, upgrading scopes on rifles, improving triggers, replacing sights on Glocks, getting better holsters, and buying ammo so I can practice, practice, practice. There is not much going in local competitions, just monthly shoots that are purely fun. I've done the competition circuit routine in the past, and don't wish to devote the resources to repeating it at this stage in my life - and I own at least one competition-ready firearm for any event I'd care to enter, anyway.

Since I moved to a rural mountain community, 22lr has begun to dominate my interest and usage. I already had tricked out my 10/22, and it's done a great job on the squirrel population around the house. Added a RWS .22 air rifle for the close-in shots. My Mark II .22/45 recently grew a scope, and is scary accurate with Eley Target. Don't see a need for anything else.

I'm allowed 10 guns on my CCW permit, and I own 12 Glocks, 3 1911s, a S&W Airweight .38 snubbie, a 9mm Shield, a SP2022, a CZ75B, a 5" 686+ Pro, and even a S&W .22lr snubbie. I'm pretty well covered for carry pieces.

If I feel the urge to bust some clays, I have a Beretta 3901 12ga, a Remington LT-1100 Skeet 20ga, and a Mossberg 500 combo 12ga. Any of those will also work on the pheasants that populate my property.

I have centerfire varmint rifles, .22lr rifles in semi, pump, and bolt actions, even an evil black modern sporting rifle in 5.56. I have a .308 reach-out-and-touch-someone rifle, just because I wanted one.

I've actually reached the point where I have guns I seldom shoot, and I don't have a burning desire to own anything I don't already have - the Glock 20 was the last one on my bucket list. I like every gun I own, and will pass them down to the next two generations when the time is right. My RSCs are comfortably full, and I can cover any scenario from taking a total newbie out to fire their first shot, to wild/rabid animals, to defending my neighborhood from invasion.

Next is getting my reloading bench set up.

I want a S&W model 10 circa 1967 in good condition like the
one I was issued in 1969 by the DC Metro PD.
I want a Colt Combat Elite like the one I had to sell when
Carter ruined the economy so bad I had to sell off my whole
collection just to keep my house and land.
I really don't need or even want anything in the rifle like but
I'd like another 20ga o/u shotgun like one of the new Ruger
Red Labels if they ever make it in a 20.
In Airguns, I'd like one of the .45 or 50 cal. like the ones
made by Sam Yang. Love airgun shooting.

I have absoultely no idea what I would like to purchase right now. I know I will buy something else but have no idea what. When I see it, whatever it may be, I'll know.

LOL---Yeah, and I'd like to dance the horizontal mambo with Charlize Theron, but I don't think either of us are going to get our wish any time soon.:D

On a more serious note: I'm getting tired of lugging a 40 oz compact .45 auto around for CCW, so I looking to switch to a lighter .357 mag revolver---maybe a stainless Ruger SP101.

Cheers

P.S. click on miss Theron's name for one good lookin' woman.

I like others have just about everything I could ask for, but in keeping with the question I would love to have a M1A. Don't need it, most likely would just sit in cabinet gather dust, but at my age I don't have to justify anything to anyone other than the Head Of Fiance aka the wife. But she will say same to me as I say to her purchases, if cash is in the bank go for it. I remember a time when me and a friend would go together to buy a box of 30-30 rounds and split the box for a whole season.

There are quite a few firearms on my "Want to Own List"..

But for some reason, no matter the phase that I may be going through, I have always wanted a Model 1860 in .45 Colt. I don't think an original would ever be in the picture, but I would be good for a replica. For some reason, this rifle has always fascinated me.

There are items on the list that I want to buy, but that rifle is probably one of the only ones on the really, really want to buy!

And as a tip.. I keep a list of all the firearms I want to own in the 'Notes' app that comes on iPhones. Hopefully someday someone will find that list and have an infinite amount of ideas of what I want for any given birthday or gift giving time frame! Maybe!

Colt LE901 16S, 7.62x51/308 Carbine. :D

I'm waiting to find one at a good, good, really good price. I want it to take over fun gun duty from my Armalite AR-10 so that it can take over go-to-gun duty from my Mossberg Maverick 12 Gauge pump.

I may keep the Maverick too and relegate it to 00 Buck duty as my shoulder keeps telling me to just say no to those evil slugs.

That resolve lasted right up until my local dealer got a couple RIA Tactical 9mms in.....

Sig Sauer SP2022 in .40 caliber. Why? Because it's said to be the "poor man's P226," and I am a poor man who'd like to own a P226. :)

Well, the one I want to buy next is an HK VP9.

Why haven't I bought one yet? It's not out! Mine is pre-ordered and I expect it within a few weeks.

Beyond that I still want an HK45C with the LEM trigger, and an EBR of some kind after that (probably a Daniel Defense or BCM).
