The NRA out there "doing nothing for gun rights" again

This passed with nearly 60%. A population that votes for that is a lost cause. My goodness even BRAZIL voted down a gun ban!!!!!!

San Francisco will probably never catch up with Brazil.

Seriously: I wonder how hard the leftist extremists will have to shop around before they find a fellow traveller judge who'll be delighted to find in favor of that patently illegal law.

Post-Katrina gun grab response by the NRA was N=1. This make its N=2 for the NRA waking up and realizing that continual compromise (aka surrender) to every gun grabbing legislation put forth is not a winning strategy. If/when N=3, I'll rejoin since THAT indicates a clear trend. I'm pleased that they are responding in this fashion though.
+1. The NRA appears to be doing what they are supposed to, finally. I might just go ahead and join based on Katrina and SF alone, despite my vitrolic comments about them selling out veterens here in Cali.

I can put up with junk mail if the NRA actually does something besides promote RINO agenda.

The NRA is doing the right thing here. This BS needs to be put down right now. There are plenty of anti-gun municipalities not only in CA but all across the country that would love to follow the shining example given the opportunity, and I bet they are watching SF experiment with interest. If this allowed to stay next year there could be dozens of small local mini-bans popping up here and there in different states and fighting those in multiple courts would be prohibitively expensive, if not downright impossible. Unless a 2A case is brought up and won on a federal level.
