Not sure how I'm gonna crimp them, but it'll get done. I'll make sure Jon lets y'all know how they taste. I think I'll try and make them on Sat after shooting or on Sun when we are having people over. I'll be making stromboli or pizza or both so I think those pies would go great.

A movies a great idea. I'd love to play me!!!!!!!! Sorry I'm not as big as Dawn so I won't try out for her. :neener: :what: :uhoh: :scrutiny:

Not sure how I'm gonna crimp them,

Gee Gus " I raised you better than that" - just wait your Momma is gonna say it. What - you spend all time with dad and missed that big room where mom hung out? :neener:

Fork is the offical crimping tool .

I Use a old Korbel Champagne bottle as a rolling pin . Wax paper with flour , roll the dough - [ cheat - use biscuit dough] I make my own from Bisquick because I am that way.

Dough will naturally be roundish, Add the Fruit to one side, Fold and crimp with a Fork. Now you are ready to use the seasoned Cast Iron Skillet.

OH FWIW I just used up some dried Apples sent to me made up your way in Amish Country ....yummmy!!!

Because in my hot little hand there is - - a genuine Colt model 1911 (not 1911-A1) trigger!! You know, like they made during the “war to end all wars,†and before.

What about a full checkered all steel 1942 circa trigger.

NOW YOU STOP THAT ... !!

Ya got'ta understand that Tuner is VERY SERIOUS about one-piece triggers. He will do almost anything to get one. If he can find you, that trigger in your gun will be out and gone faster then a bolt of lightning. :what:

Well theres no way on gods green earth that i would ever part out that pistol. But maybe just maybe some day i mite decide to sell the thing in whole to some one that I know would take very good care of it.

Well ya' better be careful ... :scrutiny:

Tuner has spies everywhere, sniff’in out those good ol’ all-steel, genuine 1911 parts … Why I happen to know that one of ‘um was only a few miles away from you less then a month ago … :what:

You jus’ don’t know how lucky you are to still have that trigger, let alone a whole pistol … :D

Gee Gus " I raised you better than that" - just wait your Momma is gonna say it. What - you spend all time with dad and missed that big room where mom hung out?

Ummm yeah. My sis was the one who hung out in that big room with my momma. Not me. My other sis was the one who also learned the art and love of quilting. Not me.

Oh well. I'll figure it out. Besides I got you guys here to keep me in line. :neener: :uhoh:

Gus

Just messing with you...

Sounds to me the Kitchen was too crowded, the quilting room as well...heck I'd of hung out in the reloading room with daddy too. :D

Tell you what - I ever head that way , we'll let the mom make the pies, I want to hang in Brian's gun area myself. I never had that ( or anything ) with my dad...

Forks for crimping pies, RCBS for crimping ctgs. ;)

Sir,

I am on "Probationary Reprobate Status" - I have been chosen to ...err...post to you.

I along with others appreciate your Craftsmanship and contributions to THR - Thank You. :)

Back yonder this thread ...well you must've read over the part...this here thread is in the

David Allan Coe Format We is attempting the perfect gunsmithin' thread . :D

...It was not the perfect C&W song, hadn't mentioned anything about momma, getting drunk, prison...

So you see sir - you haven't posted anything about cast iron skillets, Fried Apple Pies, K frames, Sophia Loren...

That's okay - you very well could have missed it...but ya gots to post something along them lines sooner or later...

Excuse me, got some Mod with a bunch of Collies barking wanting me reply to a PM... :uhoh: :p

A movies a great idea. I'd love to play me!!!!!!!! Sorry I'm not as big as Dawn so I won't try out for her.

Based on the photo you posted I think you're way cuter than Dawn, and your hubby is pretty lucky. :)

You don't know any 35-40ish single, smart, attractive women in California, do ya? I'm moving. :(

Dang, I missed a one piece trigger for my Son's 1911 kit. He got a 1911 kit for Christmas and we have started fitting some parts to it, but a 1 piece trigger would be great. He wants to swap the flat main spring housing for an arched one.
Gus, You should at least know that a fork is used to crimp.. remember making wontons.

Daddy we didn't crimp wontons!!!!!!!! We used water to seal the edges and drop them in the grease. :neener:

Sorry I don't know that many people in California. I don't even know that many older single women. Nor do I know many single women. Sorry. :uhoh:

Gus

Oops I forgot that we just used water for the wontons, but they are a great way to use an iron skillet.

So Tuner, if you can post about Norinco's you can post here, but where are the pics of either the rincos or that nice 1911 with the on piece trigger.

Besides, Tuner, what kind of ammo dump do you live on to shoot that much...?

Sorry mah fren...Got no digital camera and the scanner is fried due to a sudden incursion by Mother Nature a while back.

It's called the Tunerfish Bullet Casting Company. My ex-wife's oldest
son married a gal whose father manages the county motor pool and will deliver
wheelweights by the pickup load on demand...free. When I'm in the mood, I can crank out 2500 bullets a day without pushin' too hard, and if I can enlist some help, 4,000 is within reach if we stay at it. Been thinkin' about buyin' a machine so I can cast a year's worth in a weekend or two...but that's still in the distance. Bad weather will find the two of us doin' our level best to wear out a couple of single-stage presses and we put his younger brother to work
on the priming tool in exchange for lunch and a couple hundred rounds of
.357 and .44 Magnum ammo for his wheelguns.

It's a vicious circle...Cast'em, load'em, shoot'em, etc. Wotta life!

My trigger from Chuck Rogers arrived today.

It is truely a thing of beauty.

I have never seen a brand-new-never-been-used solid one piece short trigger before.

It's almost too pretty to use.
