Among many reasons why Eley chose RMR jacketed bullets for their match ammunition.

And here's bullet RMR did for Monster Hunter International :D - https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets/pistol/45-452/45-230-rmr-fmj-mhi/

"After we introduced our 9mm 124 gr. FMJ FP MHi bullet, with the Monster Hunter International logo on the flat point, lots of folks have been asking for a .45 caliber version. So “Ask, and ye shall receive”! Well, with RMR it’s more like, “Ask and we’ll see what we can do”. In this case, we were successful! Larry gave us permission to do a limited run of .45 bullets!"

Looks like the jacket is fully perforated to the core. Somebody PLEASE shoot some of these into some ordnance gelatin! I bet they deform irregularly and tumble or veer like heck!

Yep, saw the ad yesterday. If they had a cannalure I would have purchased some (38/357).

Disclaimer: The following is just my opinion, and I don't hunt either, so add that to the mix,,,,

But, in the assumption that the nose was indeed perforated to the core,,, (I'm not 100% convinced that it is) does it really matter?

Besides SD (and perhaps hunting??), I'm not sure what other shooting activity benefits from projo's that, after hitting the original target, do better by resisting deformation and / or tumble. Perhaps there are folks who use their 38/357 for SD (and/or hunting?) and prefer a flat-nose projo over all the other available options?

For my intended purposes, I place emphasis on consistent accuracy from the muzzle to the point of impact, and what happens to the projo after impact is irrelevant.

I've loaded several thousand of Jakes Match Winner's in 9mm, and I've been very impressed with the results. I fully anticipate that Jakes 38/357 offering would be just as impressive for my needs, smiley face or not. :)

As always, YMMV

Yep, I got that email.

If I hadn't just ordered some carbine bullets, I would grad some of these even though I might be over stocked on .357

I want to Color Fill the Smiley Face!!!!
that would be very easy to do with wax nail polish
