Those results seem to show what should be obvious, that the more gas is released the lower the velocity will be, but it is nice to have some real figures.
But with factory ammo varying by as much as 50 fps in a box, I am not sure what the practical effect is.
Also, don't overlook the results of too little barrel/cylinder gap. Too much gap won't put a revolver out of commission, binding from dirt or heat expansion of the cylinder will.
