I had this one CD that I learned was making 1/4 of a percent interest.
So I thought: "Heck ! Guns appreciate faster than that !"
That's when a 150-watt bulb turned on inside my brain.
So when I left the bank with the cash I was not at all surprised when I came across this...
pre-safety Win. 94 30/30...
Asking price $300 - absolutely firm.
Purchase price 30 minutes later $225 out-the-door.
Then - due to my having always led a clean and virtuous Life and keeping company with only the most Pure and Stalwart members of the Community - the Rifle Deity led my steps to this....
NIB .243 (and a NIB Leupold VX-III 2x8x36 for it which will arriive tomorrow).
And thus filled with Happiness and Brotherly Love I turned my footsteps down the road to my home...
When suddenly the Wise and Earnest Counsel of multiple THR members returned to my mind !
"How did you ever get down to just ONE .243?" the chiding voices kept saying.
Louder and louder they blared until I knew what I had to do - and this is what I did...
The "200th Year" #1 is used but the Nikon Buckmaster 6.5x18x40 is new.
And THAT'S what I think of the bank's quarter-percent Generosity !
