Well, the $179.99 sale on the Pietta Model 1858 New Army .44 Caliber Revolvers at Cabela's is over. Both the 5 1/2" and 8" versions have been repriced to a new sale price of $229.99. I have one on backorder to replace the '58 that blew up on me on New Year's Eve. The guns that were ordered, and are on backorder, will still have the $179.99 price, but new orders will be priced at the new $229.99 sale price. I think it's the first time I've seen something go on sale, with a price that is higher than previously priced.

I know, I wish I had jumped on the $129 .44 Navy. Which, with my Cabela's bucks, would've been around $90. Hard to beat! Maybe next time......
