I used to shoot with a friends parents without explicit consent from my parents about 6 years ago. Not that my parents would mind but who really wants to call Mommy when your 16 and want to good shooting with the girl friend and her family.
I never had a problem on the range, never got asked for my permission slip.
And it was totally obvious I was not their kid , Im brown, there white.
Well maybe I could have been
adopted but the RO knew them and I assume he knew they only had a daughter and not an adopted brown son.
