Every individual one of these things (that YOU said) is good reason to go get checked out. Brain trauma is nothing to sneeze at, especially repeat trauma! I'm not someone who runs to the doctor every time I sniffle, but I like my faculties.

Nice gun, but it doesn't take all that much to put a nice finish on it so you don't cringe every time you look at it.

Lightly sand it with ultra fine grit paper, thoroughly degrease it, and follow the instructions on Van's Cold Blue. You may be amazed at the result.

That sucks. I've had a few concussions myself, but I was younger than 30 for all of them. Not sure I'd recover as well now that I'm in my 50s.

I have recovered. I’m considering cold bluing, but it would be a waste on this gun. It’s going to get the snot beat out of it. Rattlecan is easy to rinse and redo.

Holster plans are very simple... buy one. And it’s going to be a race type holster. Likely a Safariland like this.
