    From the Tonawanda (NY) News, comes another look at the UN's attempt to gut our Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment is the one right that secures all others and must be protected at all costs, if we are to retain the rest of the Bill of Rights.

    Good article, with one outrageous exception:
    Justifiably maligned? I don't think so!!:barf:

    "Assault rifles" are the redheaded stepchildren of the shooting world. However, the fact remains that no "assault rifle" has ever shot or killed a person of its own accord. The problem is who possesses the rifle and what they do with it, not the rifle itself.

    Not to mention that the only record I know of of an assault rifle (that is, a select fire rifle) being used in a crime was by a cop.

    It wasn't even an assault rifle, it was a MAC10
