This is the T.A.R.D.
It stands for Tactical Assault and Recon Device. It is a highly advanced rifle that is able to shoot around corners thanks to its futuristic and sophisticated stock design. It can also be used at night and with pin-point accuracy thanks to its integral tactical light and laser sighting system.
The sniper scope allows for the engaging of targets up to 3 miles away, and switching targets is a breeze thanks again to the super special stock. There is also no recoil or muzzle flash due to the integrated flash hider/muzzle brake.
Of course, you could dispatch the enemy silently with the attached bayonet.

I wanted to see a 20mm H-S case necked down to .17 caliber. That's going from .78 caliber to .17 caliber. If you had a strong enough action, I think you could get hypervelocities out of it. But the action'd have to be stronger than a tank. I liked my old design, the Cornpop Racoon (don't ask about the name), which was a 4-bore double-barreled automatic shotgun for "riot control". Or riot gibletization.
