Of course criminals are in favor of gun control; it doesn't affect them in the least, and meanwhile, they can prey on an unarmed populace. This is exactly what the RKBA folks have been saying, and here we have a concrete example.

Thats hilarious. Hopefully more people see the shame that the government runs. They paid a gang to manufacture machine guns for their own personal use. I wonder how many more weapons are out there that the police can't find.

It's not the first time government and even the media have been suckered by street gangs. The P-Stones (Chicago gang) once received an educational grant from the feds. They had gangsters tutoring kids how to read. The Stones siphoned the money and used the opportunity to expand their influence and gain recruits.

Apparantly, there is no background check in getting a 1.5M grant like there is in buying a .22 revolver......Hmmmm......

What a coincidence, on the bio channel just like an hour ago there was a show on gangs, and they had an interview with this Hector guy.
I didn't like the ideology that gang violence could be stopped by discouraging people to go armed for personal defense, of course, but I don't think that gangbangers go armed for defensive reasons.
What a shame, looks like he's just playing the "no guns for you, but guns for me" card... trying to disarm rival gangs to make them easy prey.
