MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — An exploding population of hard-to-eradicate “super pigs” in Canada is threatening to spill south of the border, and northern states like Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana are taking steps to stop the invasion.

We here is KS are apparently about to be surrounded, "super pigs" from the north and regular feral swine from the south.. I figure when it gets to the point they're training Dobermanns we're screwed..

They're super because they're from crosses of domestic pigs and Eurasian hogs?
I've been told that's what's downeast in North Carolina.
Either way, Speer, Remington Winchester, Hornady, and others manufacturer copious amounts of hog kryptonite. :)

Yankees...

In Canada, the wild pigs roaming Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba pose a new threat. They are often crossbreeds that combine the survival skills of wild Eurasian boar with the size and high fertility of domestic swine to create a “super pig” that’s spreading out of control.

... which are just Razorbacks, or Piney Woods Rooters.

Hog heaven.

Cold resistant.. learning to walk on 2 legs.

Orwell foresaw this..

"Super pigs" sounds like a media eye catching buzz phrase, like "assault rifle"; I suppose that "adaptable pigs" or "prolific hogs" is boring.
