Afaik safes like these are sold with a time rating for both temperature, and forced entry with modern tools. My safe is pretty much like that one, although at 500 lbs empty I hope it's a little thicker steel... and has a 20 minute forced entry rating, and a 45 minute 1800 degree rating, I believe....that's 45 minutes till cash or paper documents ignite, my guess is firearms will suffer damage before that.

It is what it is and its better than stacking them in the closet.

On another note... I wonder what kind of safe this one was? It had $27K cash and several firearms. Stupid thieves could not get it open though.
