Times are hard and money is tight, but I found a gun I want for my collection. Looking at all my toys, the only one I feel I can part with is my Henry Big Boy in 45colt.

I love the gun. Brass receiver, octagon barrel, gallery type tube loading, and smooth action.

But, with the cost of ammo today, and my limited budget, it just sits in my gun safe.

The new gun I want to replace her with is the Soumi 9mm Semi auto version of the WW2 SMG. Something about 71rnd drum mags makes my heart all a flutter.:D

What would be a good asking price on the Henry? I've only put about 500 rounds through her.

Gunbroker is probably going to be your best bet for finding the going rate on your Henry. I wouldn't expect you to have much trouble selling it.

Agreed, but ammo costs tend to rise as magazine capacity increases. Suomis are awesome in my book, but it's not necessarily going to be cheap to feed unless you have great self control. And where's the fun in that.
