I've got a Watch Six that is absolutely the best for IWB carry of my G36.

I'd like to get something equally flat and concealable for OWB carry of my Kahr PM9.

Any suggestions?

Any good highrider-type leather holster should do the trick. I have one that I use when I carry my 4inch large frame 357 revolver.

I also recommend High Noon Holsters. I have two of them. One is the Slide Guard, a pancake style belt holster that will fit either of my two full-sized CZ 75B's. It's very confortable and holds the pistols tight against my body. Plus it's well boned so it looks good.

The other High Noon Holster holster is for my CZ 2075 RAMI. It's the Speedy Spanky model, a paddle holster that sits really high and close, and is very concealable. It'a also perfectly boned for the pistol so it looks great, and even without the slide guard it's very comfortable.

Both models are lined cowhide. Each cost $94.00 shipped. A bargain in a well made custom holster.

For off the shelf, I use Fobus paddle holsters. Not as slim, but well made, hold the gun tight, and look good. For the $20.00 price tag, or less, they're a great bargain that function well.

I have two Galco OWB holsters that literally suck the gun into my love handles and makes them disappear even when wearing a slightly overlarge t-shirt. One of the guns is a Para Ordance Carry 12 with the wide grip for the 12 round double stack mags the other is either my SIG P220ST or my Springfield Champion, both single stack grips.

One of the Galcos is a pancake style holster and the other is a high ride with leather snap straps. Both hold the guns very securely due to the light boning. Neither one has a thumb strap. I have really tested the holsters by wearing them during all types of activities. Driving my car, truck, motorcycle, riding horseback, playing basketball, softball or even a little touch football and even while laying on the ground when servicing my cars. I have yet to have any of the guns come out of the holsters during any of these activities.

I know a lot of folks on these forums really get down on the non-custom holsters as a bad investment for your high dollar guns. In my opinion this type of thinking is really unfair to those good holster manufacturers.

Of all of those, the High Noon holsters look like what I'm looking for.
Not much muzzle below the belt and close to the body.

Thanks for the replies.

I really cant specify a maker for this one, but can answer the question.
There are lots of great makers out there...........lots.
A pancake that tucks the gun in tight for you will keep it tight and choose a med/hi or high ride ht. The little Kahr will tuck in better up higher than a low ride holster.
Dont go with 2 much cant........depending on where you wear it...the farther back you wear it the more cant you want......just dont go 2 far.

Shoot well....Eric
