The disconnect from reality among conservatives never ceases to amaze me.

The New York Times, notably neo-con reporter Judith Miller and the editorial page, were among the loudest (and most decietful) supporters of the Iraq War during the runnup. She's in jail right now for refusing to testify against Karl Rove or other admin sources that compromised an undercover CIA agent.

Why would anyone be surprised that it is now publishing an op-ed to justify this stupid, unwillable, war?

Y'all could look it up, but I know it would be too much trouble, and threaten the carefully cultivated view of the world you have.

Wasn't it the NYT that recently endured the scandal over a reporter faking stories? Also, if memory serves, they conveniently neglected to mention John Allen's (aka John Mohammed - the Beltway sniper) conversion to Islam while reporting on those events.

Bottom line, I personally consider it a left wing newspaper and wouldn't use it to line a bird cage - but I'm sure the liberals love it. To each his own.

Describing The Times as "liberal" or "leftwing" (whatever that means) is your opinion.
