This Mosin synthetic stock might not be rigid enough

So I’m putting together the barreled action in the magazine and trigger guard parts of my Mosin-Nagant. Basically at the top and the bottom well when I go to screw everything in with the front screw… When the screw is hand tight it actually warms the stock a little bit and pushes the top of the magazine up into where the bolt needs to go and I can’t close the bolt. Loosening that screw drops the magazine down and makes it so I can manipulate the bolt but there’s literally no purchase on that screw.

I think what’s happen here is that when I’m tightening the bolt the stock actually warps the a wood stock wouldn’t and that’s caused the pieces to misalign.

I THINK the solution is going to be a shim between the magazine and the stock itself or put the whole thing in wood.

Is it ati? If so it should’ve come with a spacer to keep it at the right spot so that doesn’t happen.

Yes it is but I bought it secondhand which was probably dumb because I got it for $30 instead of the $80 that it normally costs.

Or you could call them. I would think they’d send you one.

I quite like my ati stock. It’s on a 91/30 and the gun shoots great in it. It’s my all weather hunting rig (because the rifle cost me 75 bucks).
