Slightly off topic, necessary knowledge about these guns ? I know they're "Colt", but are they old world Colt quality, or what ?

I kinda need my kidneys. Anyone have a holster link ?
Lol

The Mk3 Troopers are good quality guns, though they have one Achilles heel- the hammer and trigger are sintered metal and prone to cracking if dropped or dry-fired excessively.

For many years, getting these parts was difficult, but Jack First has recently offered them as billet replacements (though they arent cheap).

Not a super common failure, but its been known to happen. Just something to keep an eye out for.

Gee, I hadn't looked for anything at Jack First since his two volume print catalog.

I see he has Mk III firing pins and recoil plates. We are assured that a broken firing pin could only be replaced at the factory, so what is one supposed to do with these parts?
