The Prohunter is just an Encore with a fancy swinging hammer (mine likes to loosen up because the supplied Torx wrench doesn't fit the key precisely and makes tightening without slipping difficult), some engraving, a fancy recoil-absorbing stock and longer barrels.
The barrels are interchangeable between the Prohunter and regular Encore. Right now my Prohunter is wearing a 20" .45-70 barrel with peep sights. I also have a 20", peep-sighted .50-caliber muzzleloader barrel. To say these have a power-to-weight problem is an understatement. The .45-70 weighs about 6 1/4 pounds; the muzzleloader only tacks on anothe 1/4 lb or so!
As far as accuracy, everybody says the stock TC barrels can be coaxed into 1-MOA groups fairly easily. I haven't tried one in a regular bottlelnecked rifle cartridge though.
