I took the Thompson center contender .22lr out into the cold today. It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten to go out shooting since my range is under a foot of snow normally this time of year. So even though it was only 5 degrees out I went shooting. This gun preformed great in the cold even though I nearly froze up. At 25 yards I can hit a 4" steel target with every shot even with frozen hands and off the bench I can get a group the size of a quarter or smaller normally.
It’s always a good time trying to get a tighter group each time I take it out. Normally I like to try to take it out farther but I didn’t want to move the targets because the ground was frozen solid. Love this gun and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good target gun or something for pistol hunting if you get one in a larger caliber.
