Ted "Drunken Accident" Kennedy's son, D-RI Rep. Patrick Kennedy, looks like he is following in his father’s drunken footsteps.

(A Drunken auto accident complete with political cover up. Only thing missing is the body of a mistress he let die.)

Story Except:
Kennedy appeared to be intoxicated when he crashed his car into a barrier on Capitol Hill early Thursday morning, said Louis P. Cannon, president of the Washington chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Cannon, who was not there, said the officers involved in the accident were instructed by an official "above the rank of patrolman" to take Kennedy home.

No sobriety tests were conducted at the scene.

A letter written by a Capitol Police officer to Roll Call, a Capitol Hill newspaper, said Kennedy appeared to be staggering when he left the vehicle after the crash about 3 a.m.

Kennedy said he was late for a vote, said Officer Greg Baird, who is acting chairman of the Capitol Hill chapter of the FOP police union. The last vote of the night had occurred almost six hours earlier.

To be gun related: Why do Congressmen that are reckless and dangerous with 3000 LB + vehicles think they have the right to say guns are too dangerous for the common citizen to own?

Because they're aristocrats with special privileges, whereas we commoners have no need for guns.

I'm not a big Sean Hannity fan, and I utterly despise Mark Fuhrman, but tonight on the Hannity show, Fuhrman totally nailed this case. It's about special treatment for some people and cowardice in the DCPD toward people like the Kennedys.

It was pathetic watching Bob Beckel trying to excuse what Kennedy did. It was even more pathetic watching Combs trying to deny it.

I almost fell to the floor laughing when Alan Colmes asked Mark Fuhrman "but isn't it fairly common for a police officer to drive an accident victim home?" Fuhrman also pointed out that it also isn't common for multiple supervisors to show up and send away the primary units that reported to the scene.

Yes - and we all think Rush Limbaugh should be going to jail on drug charges too!

Right?

We ARE consistent, right?

Fuhrman is an extremely sharp individual and I've seen him hold his own with anyone.
