I just found this knife at my local store. What are your thoughts about it? What is it worth?

NIB. ATS34, BOS heat treat. 3 inch Tanto blade. 4 inch G-10 handle with Titanium liner lock.

Is $100 a good price?

Pretty good price, my local has the knife for 120, except this one is not the tanto blade. I thought the knife would be a fantastic everyday carry utility knife. Smooth opening, good angles, nice all the way around. The one thing that I did not understand is why the liners were so thin. The knife is overbuilt in every regard except the liners (which is inherent to the blade lockup when opened fully). If you never do any heavy duty cutting or chopping, which this knife is not really intended for anyways, you would be well served with it (I am truly tempted by the one at our local store). I believe that if Buck could come up with an assisted opener in this model, it would be a sure thing. For a 100, I say go for it.

The original Buck Strider collaboration had liners so thick that they could almost have neglected the scales and had a frame lock!:what: My son has one.

I, too, never understood the thinner liners in the successor.
