Thoughts on New Mexico

Lol I discovered August Arms already, working to get their fullautos site back up for them..
New Mexico is great, it's super, super cheep (I'm from northern cali). I was able to get $800k house, lots of space, and you can have any kinda of freaking weapon you want. Not to mention the Rio Rancho police I've made friends with. There still are way to many young punk cops though. I think the problem is they hire veterans (don't hate me) who are young kids, with kill, kill, kill mentality, which doesn't translate well to a peace officer.
Anyway My new house is so huge I don't use half of it right now, and I have 3 garages. I'm building a workshop and firearm storage in the 3rd garage.
I'd love to meet up with people in the area, we can go shooting in my area no problem.

If I didn't hate "hard water" so much, I could easily find happiness in Raton, NM. One of the friendliest places I've found. And, Whittington Center, the Elite gunshop and Bo Clerke's barrel-making operation. And THR folks just up the road in Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
Las Vegas is a neat little town, as well. Heck, a retiree could live in Lincoln and take part in the Billy the Kid stuff, and shop in Roswell.
