Just curious if any people from THR get together in Houston to shoot. I'd be interested in participating if there are any.

Go give the RP a once over, or run a search to see how many Houston shoots have gone in the past.
We're working on an Austin Shoot for January 21st, which I'm currently trying to wrangle.
Main lesson learned: you have to present a concrete plan When/Where/Cost really early on, and ask what needs to be changed. If you just ask "who wants a group shoot", the thread will meander for weeks. Write up a full game-plan, and see who salutes. If folks have a better idea, modify the plan and post up the new one.
If you or other folks are feeling ambitious, you can also run the search engine for any past Houston-related topics, and PM Houston folks to let them know about the Houston Shoot thread.

Yes, U have to work it out. We had one on Glocktalk in our area (near college station) last June. Took someone doing that before it happened.
If ya wanna head up this way, we have 3 ranges here that are pretty nice

Many of us have met at ASC out on Westheimer for shoots. It is a lot of fun to meet each other face to face.
