Three Gun Matches

I would like to get started Shooting three gun. So I am looking for wisdom here. I don't want to have to spend overly large sums of money at first. What guns and where is there to shoot in and around North Alabama?

Get an 870, Glock 35, and a plain jane AR-15. In the long run only the 870 might need to be upgraded to an 1100 or Benelli.

Go to www.uspsa.org and use the club finder thingie. A contact person close to you should be able to steer you in the right direction of a 3-Gun match.

What guns do you have now?

Right now I have a Glock 22, Kimber Custom II, Sig P220 ST, Bushmaster M4gery, and no shotgun.
I was thinking Benelli M2 Super 90 or????? any help?

Your Glock 22 and AR will work just fine.

Grab either a Benelli or an 1100. Its up for debate which one is better. I have both and each one has points over the other.

What would be the differance between the 1100 and the 11-87P? The Benelli might be out of my range. Thanks for the help. Look forward to more.
