"Three Men ‘Illegally’ Arrested for Openly Carrying ‘Black Powder’ Pistols in Texas"

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...hy-pro-gun-group-claims-arrests-were-illegal/

Three people were open carrying black powder pistols in Texas when they were arrested. They believe that since black powder guns are considered antiques...they should not have been arrested.

Anyway, the article says that they will take this to the Supreme Court. There were arrested at the State Capitol in Austin. They were charged with something called ' as an action with a firearm “calculated to alarm' .

GOA (Gun Owners of America) just put this on their Facebook page today (October 7 ) even though the story happened in mid September. If this has already been posted here on THR...then please delete it, lock it or move it as you see fit.

"Three people were reportedly arrested on Friday for openly carrying Civil War-era pistols during a pro-gun protest outside the Texas Capitol. Gun rights activists tell TheBlaze the arrests were unlawful as it is legal in Texas to openly carry a pre-1899 antique firearm."

“All three are lawyer’d up and plan to fight this all the way to the Supreme Court if need be,”
