Hi, I was so happy today that I just had to show someone this group.

Three shot group at 100 yds.
Bushmaster Varminter .223
24.5 grains Varget
55 gr V-Max
Remington case
CCI Primer
2.50 OAL

Sweet! I built a varminter-ish rifle but using a NATO barrel, so I probably won't get groups like that. I did get one today that was under an inch, so I did share some of your feeling today.

Good group, looks like you found the right gun and load.

Hope they are all that small.

That a nice little group. Next time you go out take a copy of that target with you, put it in the same spot, use the same aim point, same ammo and shoot your first cold shot, see where it goes. I'd bet it will surprise you.
