Got it out for a quick function check tonight, not enough time for a real range session, but I ran three rounds through it between 65 and 100 yards. My windage was right on after bore sighting, and I hit a 1.25" juice bottle lid practically dead center. So it shows promise, can't wait to really test it out. The stock fit mitigates recoil, but the butt pad is a bit stiff, I will be picking up that limb saver after all. What a sweet shooting rifle, I just had to share...

You will like that limbsaver pad. There are a few loads in my 7mm-08 that make me wonder if I need to get another limbsaver pad, but for the most part that one is tolerable.

Your rifle looks exactly like mine (I have the VX-1 3-9x40 LR scope) except for the textured paint job. I hit my stock with a can of this stuff and it really looks sharp and helps with the grip.
