Tikka T3 Lite vs Steyr Scout

If money wasn't tight what rifle would you choose out of a Tikka T3 Lite and a Steyr Scout, both in .308Win. I quite like both rifles and would like a .308 to add to my small collection.

The one I've already got. Steyr Scout.

Money is tight; I played with pseudo-scouts just enough to realize it was worth having and sold enough other guns to pay for it.

Go to Chuck Hawks website and read about his opinion about Tikka, its a good rifle, but he gets lots of people who write to him saying that their accuracy is not what they claim. I wouldnt let me stop that from buying one, but I would read a few reviews about it. Cdnn investments has close outs right now on steyrs.

Tikka/Sako actions are incredible for factory rifles. The adjustable triggers are also great.

Steyrs make incredible weapons as well. The action is very smooth and the triggers are crisp.

Both are reliable weapons and you won't go wrong with either one. I like the Steyrs stock much better than the Tikka.

I've owned both Tikka and Steyr rifles and would say that the Steyr has the advantage.

I have a sporter weight T 3 and a Styer Pro Hunter. I have no experience with the Styer Scout. Both of my examples are Top Class. Which feels better to YOU? Essex
