Tikka T3 Mount for 3-12x56 scope?

Can anyone confirm that a Zeiss Conquest 3-12x56 scope can be mounted on a Tikka T3 Hunter 308 using Warne 30mm Tikka PA medium mounts? One online seller says yes, another says no.

Or would putting a rail on the Tikka and putting QD mounts on the scope to allow using the same scope on my Benelli R1 300 WM be a better investment?

Get QD rings, and a Picatinny base, or Leupold QRW bases.
But it is always better to go with high rings if not using a base that raises off the rifle a bit, but with a higher picatinny a set of medium rings should work.

On my dads tikka I used the high warnes to mount a 50mm scope. It has maybe 1/8 inch clearance between scope bell and barrel. On my tikka I have a diavari 3-12x56 it's mounted with leupold STD mounts and high or extra high rings I can't remember it's been about 5 yrs since I mounted it.
