Im looking into getting a tikka t3 lite stainless but have a question for the mounts. ive found the scope im looking for and now need to get a good mount for it. The DNZ mounts look nice but the scope im looking at has 80 MOA max adjustment and id like to get a ring with 20 MOA shim. how would i go about using a 20 MOA shimed ring on a tikka? and ideas for the actual ring and mount?

You don't, unless you have custom mounts made $$$.$$ Tikka uses a non tapered dovetail ring mount. This is not a friendly setup to do a +20 MOA mount on.

You can use the Weaver steel Grand Slam bases with the Burris Signature rings and the offset insert kit. Use the +20 insert set for your 20 MOA, or change the inserts for any amount you you need.

EGW

EGW has a nice 20moa incline picatinny rail for the T3. Well made, and affordable, and with a picatinny rail, in conjunction with quality picatinny rings, you have more mounting options.

I have the EGW rail and rings, and I am pleased.
